- Introduce the topic "Getting to Know You" and explain the importance of learning about one another.
- Share a fun fact about yourself to break the ice.
-
Name Tags:
- Give each student a name tag and markers to write their name. Encourage them to decorate it with their favorite color or a small drawing.

- Hand out the "All About Me" worksheets which include simple drawing prompts such as:
- Draw your favorite animal.
- Draw something you love (e.g., a favorite toy, food, or place).

- Introduce the talking stick. Explain that when a student holds the stick, it’s their turn to share something from their "All About Me" worksheet.

- How did it feel to share something about yourself?
-
Wrap-Up:

- Conclude with a positive affirmation like, "We are all special in our own way!"
Assessment
- Observe student engagement during the sharing circle.
- Assess students’ ability to communicate effectively and listen to peers.
- Note their willingness to participate in drawing and sharing activities.
Adaptations
- For students who may be shy, provide alternative ways to participate (e.g., the option to share a written note if they are uncomfortable speaking aloud).
- Encourage pairs or small group sharing for those who may find it easier than speaking in front of the whole class.
Teacher's Note
- Foster an inclusive and supportive environment by encouraging positive feedback and celebrating each child's individuality.
