You grab your favorite breakfast, put on your favorite outfit, and head out knowing that today is the day you'll take a significant step toward your future. Now, let’s draw back to reality for a moment. You’re not just any student; you’re a savvy, ambitious 9th grader ready to conquer the business world!

Icebreaker Activity: "Catch Your Dream"

To kick off today’s lesson on Career Preparedness, we're going to embark on a fun and engaging icebreaker activity called "Catch Your Dream."

Instructions:

  1. Gather Around: Form small groups of 4-5 students. Each group represents a startup company.

  2. Dream Job Brainstorm: Within your group, take 5 minutes to brainstorm and discuss:

    • What are your dream jobs?
    • What skills do you think you would need?
    • Who are the role models or entrepreneurs that inspire you?
