G'day, class! Today, we’re going to begin our Maths lesson with a super fun Treasure Hunt! 🗺️✨ Who loves adventures? I know I do!
Imagine that we are brave treasure hunters! We have a map that shows us the way to a hidden treasure deep in the Enchanted Forest. But, oh no! The path is filled with tricky challenges that we must solve using our maths skills.
Let’s gather around the carpet and look at our treasure map. It has four different locations marked with big, sparkling stars! ⭐ Each star leads to a challenge we must complete in order to find our treasure.
Here’s what we’ll do:
Number Maze: We will solve simple addition problems to find out how many steps we take to get to the first star. For example, if you have 3 apples and I give you 2 more, how many apples do you have now?
Shape Search: At the second star, we will identify shapes we find around our classroom. Can you find a triangle in your folder?
Pattern Path: The third star will lead us on a path of patterns. Let’s see if we can create a pattern using coloured cubes!
Measurement Mission: Finally, the last star will challenge us to measure the length of our pencils and see whose pencil is the longest!
After we complete all these challenges, we will unlock the secret to our treasure! 🎉 What do you think the treasure is? Perhaps some yummy treats, stickers, or even a special Maths badge for everyone!
