Lesson Outline
Introduction (5 minutes)
- Greeting: Welcome the students and introduce the topic.
- Engage: Ask students questions to prompt thinking:
- "What do you think makes you unique?"
- "What are your favorite things to do?"
Activity 1: Group Discussion (10 minutes)
- Small Groups: Divide students into small groups of 3-4.
- Discussion Prompts:
- Ask each student to share one interesting fact about themselves.
- Encourage students to ask questions to learn more about their peers.
- Sharing: Select a few students to share what their group discussed with the whole class.
Activity 2: Worksheet Creation (10 minutes)
- Introduction to the Template: Distribute the “All About Me” worksheets.
- Guided Writing:
- Instruct students to fill out different sections (Name, Age, Hobbies, Favorite Things).
- Encourage them to use colored pencils/markers to make their worksheets creative.
