Hello, little explorers! Today, we are heading on a super fun adventure to Letterland, where each letter has its own special place and character.
1. Gather 'Round!
Sit together on a bright, colorful carpet or in a circle. Allow everyone to get cozy and excited for today’s adventure!
2. Meet the Letters!
Show the students the alphabet flashcards one by one. Each time you hold up a letter, say its name and sound together. You might say:
3. Introducing Letter Friends!
Now, let's make it even more magical! Ask each student to pick their favorite object or toy from the special selection you brought.
4. Color and Connect!
Give each student a big sheet of paper and their crayons. Ask them to draw something that starts with the letter C while you sing a fun letter song!
5. Share Time!
Once the drawings are done, gather again and invite each child to share what they drew.
As we wrap up today’s journey, remind everyone of the special sounds and the fun words we explored. Let them know that they're all Letterland explorers now, and every letter can take them on a new adventure!
Before we finish, maybe suggest they find letter surprises at home: something that starts with A, B, C, etc. Every letter is a treasure waiting to be discovered!
