Good morning, young explorers! Today, we are going to embark on a magical journey through the Land of Numbers! Are you ready to discover the wonders of number sense? Let’s put on our imaginary explorer hats and get started!
Imagine that we are all brave adventurers venturing into an enchanted forest filled with friendly magical creatures who need our help. Each creature is a number and they want us to learn their secrets!
To kick off our journey, I have a special Magic Number Bag here with me. Inside this bag are different colorful objects that represent our numbers! Let’s peek inside!
Now, I’ll pull out one object at a time, and we will count them together. When we see the apples, we'll chant “One, two, three—apples are so sweet!” When we see the stars, we’ll sing, “One, two, three, four, five—shine and thrive!”
After we count the objects, let’s gather around and ask, “How many apples do we have?” “How many clouds?” This way, we’ll use our voices and our hands to help us understand numbers better.
During our adventure, we will also play fun games where we match numbers to their friends, arrange our objects in order, and maybe even make some patterns!
Let’s remember that numbers are everywhere, and today, we are going to learn how to play with them and understand their magic!
