Welcome to Our Colorful Science Adventure! 🌈

Objective: Today, we’re going to embark on a magical journey of colors, learning how to mix them to create new, beautiful colors!

📖 Story Time: The Colorful Friends

Let’s start our lesson with a fun little story!

Once upon a time in a beautiful land called Colorville, there lived three friendly colors: Blue, Yellow, and Red. Each color loved to play and explore!

One sunny day, Blue said, "Let's mix and see what happens!" Yellow replied excitedly, "Yes! Let’s create something new!" Red grinned and added, "I can’t wait to see what we can make together!"

🌟 Questions to Spark Curiosity:

🎨 Mixing Colors Activity: Let’s Be Scientists!

Now it’s time for us to be scientists and mix our own colors! We’ll use Colored Water Experiment for this activity.

What You Need:

Steps to Follow:

  1. Fill the Cups: Fill three clear cups with water (about halfway).
  2. Add Colors:
    • Add a few drops of Blue food coloring to the first cup.
    • Add a few drops of Yellow food coloring to the second cup.
    • Add a few drops of Red food coloring to the third cup.
  3. Mix and Observe: Using spoons, mix the colors in each cup and watch them swirl and change!
  4. Create New Colors:
    • For a new color, mix Blue and Yellow together in a new cup. What color do you see?
    • Now, mix Red and Yellow. What color do you get this time?
    • Lastly, try mixing Red with Blue. What color appears?
  5. Color Testing: Dip the piece of white paper into each new color you’ve created. Look at how beautiful they are!

💡 Discussion Time: What Did We Learn?

After our fun activity, gather around and let’s chat!

🎉 Conclusion: You Are a Color Mixer!

You did an amazing job mixing colors today, little scientists! Remember, colors are like magic, and you have the power to create something new every time you mix them!

Now, for your homework, why not try mixing colors at home with crayons or paints? Share your color findings in our next class!

Let’s raise our brushes and say, “Color mixing is so much fun!” 🎨🌈
