As we read about Shape Forest, I need your help to identify these shapes.

• When you hear "Circle," everyone say, "Roll, roll!"
• When you hear "Square," everyone clap twice and say, "Strong, strong!"
• When you hear "Triangle," point your finger up and shout, "Pointy!"
• When you hear "Rectangle," stretch your arms wide and say, "Wide, wide!"

Activity: Shape Scavenger Hunt

After our story, we’ll go on a Shape Scavenger Hunt around our classroom! Look for objects that match the shapes we learned about.

What to Look For:

1. Circle - Can you find anything that is round?
2. Square - Look for something that has four equal sides.
3. Triangle - Is there something that has three points?
4. Rectangle - Spot a shape that has four sides but is not a square!
