Lesson Opening

3. Introduce the Detective: Show a picture or puppet of a detective holding a magnifying glass. Explain that they will become detectives today and go on a number hunt.

Number Hunt Activity

1. Discover the Numbers

• Scavenger Hunt: Explain that the children will work in pairs to search the classroom for number cards hidden in various places.
