Your quest, should you choose to accept it, is to decode this message, using the clues hidden in your language arts toolkit. Failure to unravel the mystery could mean being trapped in a world of dull vocabulary forever!
🗝️ Clue #1: This letter contains four genres of literature. Each is essential to reveal the treasure at the end.
🗝️ Clue #2: The first letter of each sentence will guide you through a winding path of discovery.
🕵️♀️ Your mission: Work in groups to decode the message by identifying the literary genres and discussing how each contributes to storytelling!
Introduction (5 minutes)
Introduce the lesson by presenting the mystery letter. Explain that today, they will embark on an adventure where they will unravel the secrets of different literary genres.
Group Work (15 minutes)
