Teacher's Script:
"¡Hola, clase! Today, we are going to learn about text features in our books. Text features are special parts of a book that help us understand the information better. Can anyone tell me what a title is? (Wait for responses.) Correct! A title is the name of the book. Let’s look closely at some of these features today!"

Activity: Text Features Hunt
Explain the Activity: "Now, we are going to go on a Text Features Hunt! I will hand out some sticky notes. When I say ‘Go!’, you will look for one of the features we talked about in the books on our tables. When you find one, place your sticky note next to it and come back to share what you found."
Conduct the Hunt:
Share Findings: "Who found a title? Raise your hand and tell us what book it’s in. Let’s hear about other features too!"
