Lesson Outline

- Introduce the three hands: hour hand (short), minute hand (long), and second hand (even longer) and their purposes.

Guided Practice (10 minutes)
- Hand out paper clocks to each student.
- Instruct students to draw the hands for various times called out, such as 1:00, 2:30, and 3:15.
- Walk around to assist and verify each student's understanding.
Closure (5 minutes)
- Recap the lesson by inviting a few students to share what they learned about the hands on a clock.
- Ask questions:
- What does the hour hand show?
- Which hand moves the fastest?
