Once upon a time, in a kingdom of numbers, there lived a friendly number named 3. One sunny day, 3 met another number, 2, in the park. They decided to go on an adventure together!

Now, here’s where you come in!

• When I say, “What did they find?”, someone can suggest another number. For instance, let’s say they find 1.
• Together, we’ll make an addition problem! 3 + 2 + 1 = ?

1. Commutative Property: It doesn’t matter in which order we add the numbers!

3. Identity Property: Adding zero to a number keeps it the same!
