In the magical land of Numberland, all the numbers live happily in their special houses. Some numbers have tiny houses because they’re small, and others have big houses because they’re big. But oh no! The numbers are feeling a bit confused today. Some of them want to move so they can be happier and more comfortable!

Meet our Friends: The Numbers!

• 1 - 9 live in tiny houses.
• 10 - 19 live in cozy cottages.
• 20 - 29 live in spacious homes.
• 30 and above live in giant castles.

The Problem: Number Confusion!

The numbers don’t know if they should move up to a bigger house or stay in their cozy spot. That’s where we come in! Our mission is to help them round to the nearest ten so they can live in the right homes!

Before we can help our friends, let’s learn the magic rules of rounding:

1. Look at the number next door!

   • If it’s 5 or more, we round up.
   • If it’s 4 or less, we round down.

2. Change the rest to zeros!
