• A box filled with various items representing different global traditions (e.g., a small Mexican sombrero, a replica of a Diwali lamp, a Chinese lantern, a Thanksgiving turkey cutout, etc.)
• A timer or stopwatch
• Notebooks and pens for students

Activity Steps:

1. Mystery Box Presentation: As the students enter the classroom, have the box prominently displayed at the front. Invite them to guess what is inside but don't reveal the contents just yet.

2. Introduction of the Hook: Once all students are settled, introduce the "Mystery Box of Traditions" activity. Explain that inside the box are items representing various global celebrations and traditions.
