Irregular Verbs in the Past Tense (15 minutes)
- Teacher explains that some verbs in English follow an irregular pattern to form the past tense, by changing the base form in different ways.
- Teacher shares examples of irregular verbs in the past tense, on the board and using slides, and invites students to practice saying them.
- Teacher asks students to form sentences using irregular verbs in the past tense.
