Dance Like Your Favorite Animal

Can you show me how a giraffe dances with its long legs? Or maybe a silly monkey jumping from tree to tree? Let’s all stand up and pretend to be our favorite animals and dance for a little while!

Sing a Mini-Song Together

After dancing, let’s make some noise! Clap your hands and stomp your feet. Can we create our own little song? Let’s all sing together about our favorite things!

Now that we’ve danced and sung, let’s bring our feelings into art!

Art Activity: Draw Your Dance!

1. Grab a piece of paper and some crayons.
2. Imagine your favorite dance moves we did today.
3. Draw what you see in your mind. Is it a swirl? A jump? A silly wiggle?
