Hello, little artists! Today, we’re going to dive into the wonderful world of summer! Can you feel the warm sun on your skin? Can you hear the sounds of birds singing and children playing? Summer is a magical time full of colors, warmth, and fun!
To kick off our lesson, let’s do a fun little activity. I want you to close your eyes for a moment and imagine a beautiful summer day. What do you see? Is it a bright blue sky? Maybe a giant yellow sun? How about colorful flowers in the garden or fluffy clouds drifting by?
Now, let’s take a deep breath in and out. Imagine you are taking in all the wonderful summer scents—like fresh grass, blooming flowers, and yummy ice cream!
When you open your eyes, I want you to grab your crayons and paper. Together, we’re going to draw our favorite summer things!
Once you finish your drawing, you can share it with a friend! You can say, “This is my summer day! Look at my (insert favorite summer activity)!”
At the end of our lesson, we will have a little Summer Art Show! We’ll display all of your fantastic artwork so everyone can admire each other's summer creations!
