Before we start our adventure, let’s gather around and listen closely. Imagine we are in a magical forest where letters dance and play. Each letter has a special sound, and they love to hide treasure all around! Our job today is to find these letter treasures and learn their sounds.

Getting Started

Warm-Up: The Letter Song

Let’s warm up our voices with a fun letter song! 🎶
(You can sing to the tune of “Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star”)

A, B, C, come sing with me,  
Letters are as easy as can be!  
D, E, F, we’re on a quest,  
Finding letter sounds, we’ll do our best.  
G, H, I, come take a look,  
Letters are treasures, like in a book.  

Treasure Map Explanation

Now, gather around, my treasure hunters! Here is our Treasure Map—a big paper with some special letter clues on it. Each clue will lead us to a letter treasure hidden in our classroom!

1. Clue 1: "Find the letter that sounds like 'a' in apple!" 🍏
   • (Show them a picture of an apple.)

Once they find an object starting with 'A', you can discuss the sound it makes.

2. Clue 2: "Now, let’s hunt for the letter that sounds like 'b' in ball!" ⚽
   • (Present a ball.)

And so on, creating interactive clues for each letter!

Conclusion: Celebrating Our Finds

After the hunt, we will gather all the treasures we found! 🎉

• Show and Tell: Each child can show their treasure and tell the class which letter it represents.
• Letter Wall: Let’s create a “Letter Treasure Wall” where we can stick pictures of the treasures next to the letters they belong to.
