Welcome, little athletes! Today, we are going to jump into some exciting jumping activities that will make our hearts happy and our bodies strong. But before we start bouncing around, let’s begin our lesson with a fun story that will get us hopping!
Gather around, everyone! Let’s close our eyes and imagine a bright sunny day in the magical land of Jumptopia. In this special place, there are friendly creatures called Jumpers who love to leap and bound all day long. They have the softest clouds to jump off and the bounciest flowers to land on!
One day, the Jumpers decided to have a Jumping Festival where they would showcase their best jumps. They invited everyone from Jumptopia to join in the fun!
“Let’s see who can jump the farthest!” shouted Bouncy Bunny, hopping with excitement. “And who can do the silliest jump?” giggled Jolly Frog, bouncing up and down.
As the Jumping Festival began, all the Jumpers took turns showing their best moves. The whole land echoed with laughter and cheers.
Now, open your eyes! Just like the Jumpers in Jumptopia, it’s time for us to leap into action! We will try different jumping techniques just like Bouncy Bunny, Jolly Frog, and Springing Squirrel.
Are you ready to show off your very own jumping skills? Let’s start with some warm-up exercises and then we’ll practice hopping, jumping, and bouncing around. Remember, just like our friends in Jumptopia, jumping is all about having fun!
Now, everyone stand up and get ready for our first jump! On the count of three, we will all jump together like our Jumper friends. Ready?
1... 2... 3... JUMP!
Let the fun begin!
