Course Goal and Aims

The goal of this course is to help Year/Grade 2 students develop their math skills by learning about shapes. The course aims to teach students to:

• Identify and distinguish between different shapes
• Understand the properties of each shape
• Develop spatial reasoning skills
• Apply what they learn to real-world situations

Lesson 1: Introduction to Shapes

Module 1: Identifying Shapes

• Introduce the different types of shapes such as triangles, squares, rectangles, and circles.

• Encourage students to describe the shapes using words like curved, straight, pointed, etc.
