Begin the lesson by placing the mysterious box on a table in front of the class. Cover it with a cloth to build anticipation.
Teacher’s Script: "Good morning, class! Today, we’re going to embark on a journey into the world of storytelling. But first, I have a mystery for you! What could be inside this box? Let your imaginations run wild!"
Slowly remove the cloth and unveil the box. Invite students to come up one at a time to pull out an object without revealing it to others.
Once all objects are revealed, explain to the students that each object is a key element in a story.
Teacher’s Script: "Each of these objects tells a story. Your task is to choose one object and imagine a story that revolves around it or describe it in detail as a character or setting. Think about what adventures they could have or what secrets they might hold!"
Give the students a few minutes to brainstorm ideas on paper. Encourage them to think of questions related to their chosen object:
