But one day, they faced a big challenge: How could they figure out how much money to use to buy the things they wanted?

To help our friends in Coinville, we need to learn all about money! First, let’s meet our special coins:

• Penny (1 cent): Looks shiny and brown, perfect for little purchases!
• Nickel (5 cents): A bit bigger and silver, what a mighty nickel!
• Dime (10 cents): Small but powerful, this silver coin is worth a lot!
• Quarter (25 cents): The biggest of the main coins, can buy more goodies!

Exploring the Coins

Now, let’s get our hands on some play money! Each of you will receive some pennies, nickels, dimes, and quarters.
