Objective

By the end of this lesson, students will be able to identify and describe their own characteristic traits.

Hook

What makes you unique? Do you have any special talents or hobbies? These are just a few questions that we will explore today as we dive into the world of characteristic traits!

Connect

Everyone is different, but that's what makes the world such an interesting place. Just like how each of us has a unique fingerprint, we each have characteristic traits that make us who we are. Today, we will be learning how to identify and describe these traits in ourselves.

Engage

To start, let's take a few minutes to reflect on our own characteristic traits. I'm going to ask each of you to share one thing that you're really good at, or one activity that you love to do. It could be anything from drawing to playing soccer to reading books. Remember, we want to celebrate and recognize all the things that make each of us special and unique!

Transition

Now that we've had a chance to share some of our own traits, let's explore a little bit more about what characteristic traits are and how we can identify them.
