Procedure
- Introduction (5 minutes)
- Begin by asking students if they have heard of Buddhism before and if they know any of its teachings.
- Introduce the concept of the Eightfold Path and its importance in Buddhism.
- Explain that the Eightfold Path is a set of guidelines that help Buddhists lead a meaningful and peaceful life.
- The Eightfold Path (15 minutes)
- Distribute the handout with the Eightfold Path and explain each aspect in detail.
- Have students take notes during the explanation of each aspect.
- Ask students to share examples of how they can apply each aspect in their own lives.
- Group Activity (10 minutes)
- Divide the class into groups.
- Have each group discuss and come up with a scenario where they can apply at least three aspects of the Eightfold Path.
- Ask each group to share their scenarios and how the aspects of the Eightfold Path can help in that situation.
- Conclusion (5 minutes)
- Summarize the key points of the lesson and remind students of the importance of the Eightfold Path in Buddhism.
- Encourage students to think about how they can apply these teachings in their daily lives.

- Evaluate student participation in the group activity and their ability to identify how the Eightfold Path can be applied in different situations.
- Assess student notes and understanding of the Eightfold Path during the lesson.
