A Day at the Bay

It is a bright day at the bay.
The sun is up high.
The sky is blue.
The bay is nice.
There are big waves.

Ray and May are at the bay.
Ray has a red toy.
May has a blue toy.
They run and play by the bay.

Ray and May dig in the sand.
They make a big sandcast.
It is tall and grey.
They put a shell on the top!

"Look at the waves!" says May.
"Yes, the waves are fun!" says Ray.
They jump by the bay.
The waves splash clay!

A flock of birds fly by.
The birds are grey and gay.
"Look at them play!" says Ray.
"They can sway and stay!"

At noon, it is time to eat.
Ray and May sit on the mat.
They have some clay, and a pie.
They sip some sweet tea.
Page 7
"Yum! This is great!" says May.
Ray says, "I like pie!"
They eat and talk by the bay.
What a nice day!

As the sun sets, it turns grey.
Ray and May pack their tray.
"What fun!" says May.
"Way to play!" says Ray!

They walk away from the bay.
They can not wait for the next day.
Ray and May will play again.
