Introduction (5 minutes):

1. Greet the students and introduce the topic of the lesson - Nouns.
2. Ask the students if they know what a noun is and provide a simple definition.
3. Engage the students by asking them to give examples of nouns they know.
4. Demonstrate the importance of nouns by giving examples of sentences without nouns and asking the students if the sentences make sense.

Lesson Development (15 minutes):

1. Explain that a noun is a person, place, thing, or animal.
2. Write examples of each on the whiteboard and ask the students to identify them.
3. Provide additional examples and ask the students to identify the nouns.
4. Give a few sentences where there are no nouns and ask the students to identify what's missing.
5. Have the students pair up and identify nouns in sentences provided in the worksheet.
6. Go over the answers together as a class.

Conclusion (5 minutes):

1. Recap what was learned in the lesson by asking the students to give an example of a noun.
2. Ask the students if they enjoyed the lesson and if they have any questions.
3. Assign a homework task.

Homework (5 minutes):

1. Distribute the worksheets to the students.
2. Explain the homework task - Complete the worksheet by identifying the nouns in each sentence.
