Objective

To introduce students to the -ar verb conjugation in Spanish.

Begin lesson by introducing the concept of -ar verb conjugation.
Write an -ar verb on the board, such as "hablar," and ask students to tell you what it means.
Explain that to conjugate the verb, you must change the ending depending on the subject pronoun.
Write the present tense conjugations of hablar on the board, using the chart as a guide.

Practice conjugating -ar verbs with the class using different verbs and subjects.

Review homework at the beginning of the next class.
