Good morning, everyone! Today, we’re going on a fantastic Counting Adventure! Are you ready to count to 20? Let’s get started!
To help us count, we’ll meet some special friends in a magical garden. There’s a friendly bunny, a cheeky kangaroo, and a wise old koala. They need our help to count all the wonderful things they see!
As we walk through the garden, we’re going to find different groups of objects. We’ll use our counting skills to find out how many there are of each! Remember, our goal is to reach 20!
Collect Five Stones: Begin by collecting 5 stones from the playground or garden. Place them on your counting mat.
Count Together: Let’s count them together! 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 – Great job!
Gather More Objects: Walk around and find different items (leaves, sticks, etc.) until you have 20 items in total.
Count Again: Once you have your items, let’s count them to make sure there are 20!
Decorate Your Mat: Use your crayons to colour the numbers on your mat as you count.
