Teacher: "Once upon a time in the Magical Garden, there lived 3 bright yellow flowers and 2 lovely red flowers. Can anyone tell me how many flowers are there in total?"
Encourage students to respond and guess as a group.
Teacher: "That’s right! We can find out by adding! Let’s use our fingers to count."
