As you walk into the classroom today, imagine you're stepping into a rocket ship! Your mission is to explore the wonders of our solar system. But first, we need to make sure our rocket has everything we need for our adventure.

1. Gather Around the Launch Pad: Sit in a circle and let’s gather our thoughts.
2. Space Gear Check: Take a moment to think about what you know about space. What planets can you name? Can you think of any stars, moons, or asteroids?

Interactive Activity: Planet Pictionary

To kick off our lesson, we will play a fun game called Planet Pictionary! Here's how it works:

• Split into Teams: We'll divide into small teams.
• Drawing Time: Each team will take turns drawing something related to the solar system on the board! It could be a planet, a spaceship, or even an astronaut!
• Guessing Game: The other teams will have 30 seconds to guess what it is. The team with the most correct guesses will earn “rocket fuel points” for our space adventure.
