Lesson Outline

Introduction (5 minutes)

• Engagement Question: Write "Was ist dein Lieblingsessen?" (What is your favourite food?) on the board. Have a few students share their answers in English.

Presentation (10 minutes)

• Introduce Food Vocabulary: Use flashcards to introduce a variety of food items. Examples include:

  • Apfel (apple)
  • Brot (bread)
  • Käse (cheese)
  • Fisch (fish)
  • Gemüse (vegetables)

• Pronunciation Practice: Model the pronunciation of each word and have students repeat after you.

• Simple Sentences: Introduce sentence structures. For example:

Guided Practice (10 minutes)
