Objectives

- Plastic or paper eggs in various colors and sizes
- Egg cartons

Introduction (5 minutes)
- Greeting: Start the class with a warm welcome.
- Engage: Display different types of eggs (e.g., chicken, quail, and duck eggs).
- Ask Questions:
- "What color is this egg?"
- "How many eggs do we have here?"
- Briefly explain that today they'll learn about eggs through counting, shapes, and colors.
Main Activity (20 minutes)
A. Egg Exploration (10 minutes)
- Sorting Activity:
- Distribute plastic or paper eggs to each student and an egg carton.
- Instruct students to sort their eggs by color and size into the egg cartons.
- Facilitate Discussion: Walk around and ask students to explain why they sorted the eggs the way they did.
B. Counting & Math Games (10 minutes)

- Have students count the number of eggs they have in their cartons.
- Ask, "If I add one more egg, how many do I have now?" Give them a moment to add and count again.

Simple Addition/Subtraction:
- Use the whiteboard to demonstrate simple equations using the eggs. For example:
- "2 eggs + 1 egg = ?"
- "3 eggs - 1 egg = ?"
- Call on students to answer, encouraging them to use their fingers or the eggs for counting.
Closing Activity (5 minutes)
