3. Guess the Shape: I’ll pull out one shape without showing you. Your job is to guess what shape it is using your best descriptive words!

Once we finish guessing, I’ll ask everyone to pick their favourite shape and grab some crayons and paper. You can:

• Draw the shape.
• Colour it.
• Then, we’ll figure out how much space it takes up on our paper, which is a great way to understand area.
