Welcome to the Rainbow Garden! 🌈 Today, we’re going to explore how we can be nature's little helpers by learning about art and sustainability!
Before we start our art activities, let’s gather around for a special story.
Once upon a time, in a lush green forest, a little seed dreamed of becoming a beautiful flower. But the seed noticed that there were pieces of trash scattered all around the forest. The trees whispered to the seed, "If we want to grow and shine, we must keep our home clean and safe!"
Will the little seed find a way to help the forest?
Discussion Questions:
After our story, we’ll embark on an exciting art project!
Collecting Items: Let’s go on a little treasure hunt around our classroom or outside in the garden! We will gather leaves, sticks, or any other goodies from nature. Remember to observe and only take what is lying on the ground.
Creating Our Collages: Once we have our treasures, we will use the recycled materials to create vibrant nature collages. You can make trees, flowers, animals, or anything else that inspires you!
Sharing Time: Once your artwork is ready, we will have a little gallery walk where everyone can show their creations and share what materials they used and why they chose them.
At the end of our lesson, we will sit together and talk about how our art can help the Earth and why recycling and taking care of our environment are important. We can become eco-artists and make the world beautiful while protecting it! 🌍
Every little action counts, whether it’s picking up litter or creating amazing art with recycled materials. Let’s make our Rainbow Garden shine bright!
Let’s get creative and start our journey into the world of art and sustainability! ✨
