Objective
Students will be able to discuss their favorite books, share reasons for their choices, and learn new vocabulary related to reading and literature.

Lesson Outline
Introduction (5 minutes)
- Begin the lesson by greeting the students.
- Introduce the topic of favourite books. Ask the students if they enjoy reading.
- Write the question on the board: "What is your favourite book?"
Vocabulary Introduction (5 minutes)
- Introduce new vocabulary words related to books and reading:
- Author
- Genre
- Plot
- Character
- Setting
- Give definitions and examples for each word. Encourage students to take notes.
Group Activity (10 minutes)
- Divide the class into small groups of 3-4 students.
- Distribute pictures of popular book covers to each group.
- Ask each group to choose one book and discuss the following questions:
- What is the title of the book?
- Who is the author?
- What is the genre?
- Who are the main characters?
- What is the main theme of the book?
- Encourage each group to prepare a short presentation about their chosen book.
Group Presentations (5 minutes)
- Ask each group to present their book to the class.
- Allow 1-2 minutes for each group to share their findings.
- Encourage classmates to ask questions after each presentation.
Conclusion and Reflection (5 minutes)
- Wrap up the lesson by asking students to reflect on what they learned.

Homework Assignment
- Ask students to write a short paragraph about their favorite book, including the title, author, and reasons why they love it.
