To retrieve the diamond, you must solve a series of challenges that involve dividing decimals. But don't worry! You’ll have special tools—your knowledge and strategies for dividing numbers—by your side!

Engaging Hook: The Treasure Map

To spark your curiosity, I’ve created a treasure map! 🗺️ In groups, you will receive a piece of the Decimal Town treasure map. Each piece will have a division problem that, once solved, reveals part of the location for the treasure.

Here’s how it works:

• Each group will receive a card with a division problem involving decimals (for example, 4.5 ÷ 1.5).
• You’ll work together to solve the problem and complete your piece of the map.
• Once you’ve completed your map, your group will present the solution and help the class piece together the entire map!
