Good morning, young explorers! Today, we are going to embark on an exciting adventure to discover the wonderful world of thermal heat! 🥵💨

To kick off our lesson, let’s start with a fun little riddle:

Riddle:
I can be hot like the sun,
Or cool like ice,
I help your food cook,
And I’m super nice!
What am I?

That’s right—it's heat!

Next, I have a special Mystery Bag filled with different items that have different temperatures. I need some brave volunteers to help me out!

Here’s what we'll do:

Participants: Choose two classmates to help.
Mystery Items: I’ll pull out an item from the bag. Remember, you can’t see it until I show you!
Feel and Describe: I want you to feel the item (without looking) and tell us if it feels hot, warm, or cold.

Example Items:

Don’t worry! We'll only use safe items, and I will guide you through the whole activity. We don’t touch anything that could hurt us!

After our Mystery Bag activity, we will dive deeper into what heat is, where it comes from, and how we can feel it all around us!
