Introduction
Welcome to the Year 5 Physical Education Badminton Course! This course aims to introduce students to the fundamentals of badminton, including basic skills, rules of the game, and sportsmanship. Course Goals and Aims

Course Structure
Module 1: Introduction to Badminton (Lessons 1-2)
Lesson 1: Introduction to the Sport

- Equipment needed: Rackets, shuttlecocks, and nets.
- Discussion on the importance of physical education.
Lesson 2: Basic Rules and Scoring
- Introduction to the court layout and dimensions.
- Explanation of basic rules (singles vs. doubles).
- How to score points and win a game.
Module 2: Fundamental Skills (Lessons 3-5)
Lesson 3: Grip and Stance
- Teaching the correct grip for the racket (panhandle grip for beginners).
- Practicing the ready position and footwork basics.
Lesson 4: Serving Techniques

- Practice serves in pairs, focusing on accuracy and distance.
Lesson 5: Rallying Skills
- Introduction to rallying: What it is and its purpose.
