Hello, little musicians! Today, we’re going to dive into the enchanting world of music. Do you know that music is all around us? It can make us feel happy, sad, excited, or even sleepy! Are you ready to explore sounds and rhythms with me?

🌟 A Surprise Sound Box!

To kick off our lesson, we’re going to start with a Surprise Sound Box! Here’s how it works:

1. Gather Around: Find your favourite spot on the carpet and sit with your friends.
2. Guess the Sound: I have a special box filled with different musical instruments. Each one makes a unique sound! I will take out an instrument one by one, and you will listen carefully.
3. Make a Guess: When I play the sound, shout out your guesses!
   • Is it a drum? 🥁
   • A tambourine? 🎶
   • Or maybe a shaker? 🎤

🎼 Let’s Get Moving!

After we guess the sounds, we’ll have a fun movement activity!

• Follow the Beat: I will play a short tune on different instruments. When you hear a fast beat, jump up and down! When it’s a slow beat, stretch your arms wide and sway from side to side.

🎤 Sharing Time

Once we’ve had fun guessing and moving, I want you all to help me create a Class Song!

• We'll start by choosing a few words together, maybe about our favourite animals or colours. Then, we’ll put those words to a simple tune.
• Everyone will get a chance to sing and share their ideas. 🎵
