Objective: Today, we are going to learn all about the wonderful concept of sharing! We’ll see how sharing makes us feel good inside and helps us make friends.
Let’s begin our lesson with a fun story! Gather around, and I’ll tell you about a little bear named Benny who loves to play with his toys but doesn’t like to share them.
Once upon a time in a bright, green forest, there lived a cuddly bear named Benny. Benny had a fantastic pile of toys - big plush balls, shiny cars, and colourful blocks. He thought they were the best in the whole forest!
One sunny day, Benny's friends, Lucy the squirrel and Max the rabbit, came to visit. They were excited to play but quickly realised that Benny was keeping his toys all to himself. Benny thought he would lose his toys if he shared them.
While they were playing hide and seek, Lucy and Max had so much fun, but Benny felt lonely. They were all giggling together, but Benny just watched from the side.
Can you guess what happened next? Benny saw how much fun his friends were having, and he thought, “Maybe if I share just one toy, we can all have fun together!”
Now, let’s think about what Benny decided to do!
After our story, we will create “Friendship Cards” that we can use to share something special with our friends in class.
