Hello, everyone! Today we are going on a special journey to learn about a very important person in the story of Christianity—St Paul! Are you ready to use your imagination and discover new things? Let’s start our adventure!
To begin our lesson, we’re going to have an exciting treasure hunt! St Paul was famous for writing letters to help and teach people about love and kindness. Just like St Paul, we will search for “letters” that contain words of love!
Create Your Treasure Bags: Let's decorate our brown paper bags! Use the crayons and markers to add your favourite colours and designs.
Find the Letters: I will hide the colourful paper hearts around the classroom. Each heart has a special word on it. Your mission is to find them all!
Share What You Found: Once everyone has gathered their letters, we will sit in a circle. Each friend can take turns to share their heart and tell us what that word means. For example, what does “love” mean to you?
After our treasure hunt, we will talk about St Paul's journey and how he spread messages of love, just like the words we found! St Paul wanted everyone to know how important it is to care for one another.
Just like St Paul, we can spread kindness by sharing our smiles, helping a friend, or saying something nice to someone.
To wrap up our lesson, we will sing a fun song about friendship and kindness! Dancing and singing will help us remember the importance of the words we found during our treasure hunt.
