Icebreaker Activity: The Perfect Event Proposal

Objective:

2. Imagine Your Dream Event:

   • Think of an event you would like to plan— it could be a birthday party, a wedding, or even a corporate function.
   • Discuss among your group the type of event, theme, and any special features you want to include.

3. Create a Mini Proposal:

   • Use A4 sheets or flip charts to sketch out your event proposal.
   • Include the following elements:
     • Event Name: What will you call your event?
     • Theme and Decor: Describe the atmosphere and visuals.
     • Menu Options: What delicious food and drinks will be served?
     • Venue: Where will the event take place? Why is it special?
     • Entertainment: What activities or performances will add fun?

4. Presentation:

   • Each group will present their event proposals to the class in a 2-minute pitch.
   • Be prepared to answer a couple of questions from your classmates about your proposal!

Materials Needed:

• A4 sheets or flip charts
• Markers, pens, and coloured pencils
• Optional: magazines for mood boards (if available)
