Activity 1: Counting with Manipulatives (10 minutes)

Distribute counting manipulatives to each child.
Ask the children to pick a card from the number cards and count out the corresponding number of manipulatives.
Walk around the room, offering help and encouragement as they count.
Once everyone has finished, ask a few children to share their number and how many manipulatives they have.

Activity 2: Number Art (10 minutes)

Provide large paper and crayons to each child.
Ask them to choose their favourite number from 1 to 10 and draw that many objects (e.g., if they choose the number 3, they could draw three apples).
Encourage sharing by having them explain their drawings to a partner or to the group.

Activity 3: Counting Song (5 minutes)

Gather the children again in a circle.
Play a fun counting song that goes up to 10, encouraging children to sing along and count with actions.
Use the bell or a music player to signal when to start and stop.

Conclusion (5 minutes)

Review the numbers learned in the lesson.
Ask the children to show their number cards again and say their numbers out loud.
Praise their efforts and reinforce how learning numbers can be fun.
