Good morning, everyone! Today, we’re going to start our music lesson with a fun and exciting activity! But first, let’s warm up our voices and our bodies. Ready?
Gather Around: Everybody stand in a circle.
Pass the Beat: We're going to play a game called "Pass the Beat". One person will start by clapping their hands once. Then, the next person in the circle will clap and add their own sound! For example, they could snap their fingers or stomp their feet!
Get Creative: Continue going around the circle, each person adding a new sound. Let’s see how many different sounds we can create together!
Repeat the Pattern: After everyone has had a turn, let’s try to remember the order of the sounds we made. Can we clap it back together as a group?
After our game, let’s talk!
Now that we’ve warmed up, let’s learn about the different types of sounds and explore some instruments that make those sounds! We’re going to discover how music can be joyful, silly, loud, or soft—just like the sounds we created together.
Are you ready to dive into the wonderful world of music? Let’s go! 🎵
Don’t forget to bring your favorite instrument (if you have one) for our next lesson! We’ll make some beautiful music together!
