Hello, little explorers! Today, we're going on a magical journey to learn about Atua, which are special gods in Māori culture. These gods help with nature and teach us about the world around us!
To get us started, let's use our imagination! Find a comfy spot on the carpet, and sit down like a little seed sitting in the ground. Close your eyes, and let's travel to the land of the Māori where the Atua live.
Once upon a time, in a beautiful land filled with mountains, rivers, and forests, there were incredible Atua:
Imagine listening to the waves as Tangaroa calls you from the ocean and feel the gentle touch of the wind as Ranginui wraps you in his arms.
Now that we've met some of the Atua, it's time to get creative!
At the end of our lesson, we’ll hang our drawings on the wall like a big Atua mural to remind us of our special creations and what we learned today!
Open your eyes, take a deep breath, and let’s dive into the exciting world of Atua together! Remember, every Atua teaches us something special—let's see what we can discover!
