Welcome, little artists! Today, we are going to dive into a world filled with sandy shores, sparkling waves, and colorful treasures. Are you ready for an exciting adventure at the beach?
To start our lesson, let’s create a Beach Sensory Experience! Here’s how we’ll do it:
Beach Blanket Setup: Lay down a colorful beach blanket in the middle of the classroom. This will be our imaginary beach.
Beach Sounds: Play soothing soundscapes of ocean waves and seagulls. You can find these sounds on tablets or speakers. Encourage the children to close their eyes and imagine that they are at the beach.
Sensory Bins: Set up sensory bins filled with sand (or kinetic sand) and small sea-themed toys like shells, starfish, and toy boats. As we gather around the blanket, each child can take turns sharing the items they find in the bin.
After our sensory adventure, we’ll transition into creating our artwork! Here’s what we’ll do:

Art Activity:
Once everyone has finished their artwork, we can have a “Beach Art Gallery” where every child showcases their masterpiece. They can share their favorite part of the artwork and what they imagine their beach would look like.
Let’s take a trip to the beach through art today! Are you ready, little artists? Let the tides of creativity wash over you! 🌞🏖️
