Lesson Outline
Introduction (5 minutes)
- Engage the Class: Start with a short question: "Has anyone heard about ADHD?" Allow students to share their thoughts.
- Define ADHD: Explain that ADHD stands for Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder. It is a condition that affects how people pay attention and control their impulses.
What is ADHD? (10 minutes)

Characteristics of ADHD:
- Inattention: Difficulty focusing, forgetfulness, and trouble following instructions.
- Hyperactivity: Being very active, fidgeting, or talking too much.
- Impulsivity: Acting without thinking, interrupting others, or having difficulty waiting.

Class Activity:
- Ask students to raise their hands if they have felt distracted or restless at times. Use this to illustrate that everybody can experience these feelings, but for some, it can be very challenging.
