Step 1: The Mystery Box

Activity:

Let's start our day with a fun surprise! I have a Mystery Box 🎁 right here. Inside this box, are different objects that represent some of the things we can learn about.

Instructions:

Gather Around! Invite all your friends to sit in a circle.
Mystery Box Reveal: One by one, I'll pull an object from the box. After I reveal each item, we’ll take turns guessing what it is and what we can learn from it!
Discussion: Once everyone has had a chance to guess, we’ll talk a bit about each item and what it teaches us about the world around us.

A seed 🌱 (Nature and growth)

Step 2: Sharing Our Ideas

Now that we’ve explored our Mystery Box, let’s share!

Creating a Class Chart

As we share, we will create a big chart on the wall titled, "Things We Can Learn!" Each time someone shares an idea, we will write it on our chart. This will help us remember all the exciting things we’ve discussed!

Conclusion: Setting Our Learning Goals

At the end of our adventure, we will each draw a picture of something we want to learn more about this week! 🎨 The pictures will go on our Learning Goals Board to remind us of our journey ahead!
