🍏 Welcome to our fun-filled art adventure, little artists! Today, we're going to explore something delicious and colorful — apples! Did you know that apples come in many colors, like red, green, and yellow? Let’s discover the magic of apples through art!
To kick off our lesson, let's start with a fun story!
Once upon a time, in a sunny orchard, there grew a magical apple tree. This tree had the juiciest apples of all colors. One day, a curious little squirrel named Sammy decided to explore the tree. As he climbed, he spotted a shiny red apple and thought, "I wonder what I can make with this apple?"
As we read the story, encourage the children to picture the orchard and the apple tree. Ask questions like:
Prepare the Apples: Slice the apples in half (adults only!) and place the halves on paper plates.
Dab in Paint: Let the children use paintbrushes or sponges to apply paint on the apple halves. Remember, we want the colors of our apples to be bright!
Make Your Prints: Press the painted side of the apple half down onto the construction paper. Encourage the kids to make fun patterns or even create an apple tree by printing multiple apples!
Sprinkle Some Glitter: While the paint is still wet, let the little ones sprinkle glitter on their apple prints for that extra sparkle.
Share and Display: Once everyone finishes, have a mini art show where they can share their creations with the class! Display their artwork in the classroom to celebrate their creativity.
As we finish our "Apple Adventure," remind the children of all the fun colors and shapes they created! Ask them: "What did you like best about making your apple art?"
This lesson not only encourages creativity but also teaches the children about the beauty of apples and nature. 🌳🍏 Let’s keep exploring and creating each week!
Remember: Always keep the joy of art in your hearts! 🎨❤️
